Spin Wild! Jonathan turns herds of "Moosie™" spindles throughout the year. These include a custom shaft, and are made with the highest attention to detail.

What can I say about my Moosie™? It is divine,
wonderful, beautiful, and I am spinning up a storm.
It's perfectly balanced, so pretty to look at.
— Becky P

Our Moosies™ feature a 1.5-2" whorl, set on a  9" hand-turned hardwood shaft. Weights vary by size and density, averaging 26-39 g / .91-1.39 oz. Details about each herd are provided after they are turned, polished and finished with shaft and hook.

Our Moosie™ spindles are made from dropped antlers.  No moose was injured to make these spindles.

To see a variety of Moosies™ as well as beautiful wooden spindles, visit the Bosworth Spindle Group on Flickr.

Current Moosies™ are $170 plus Priority Mail/Tracking (USPS 1st Class International for long-distance Moosies™).  Still finishing earlier special requests; LLL group pinged.

It seems so mysterious and magical to me —
like Michaelangelo releasing the angel from the stone.
Little do the moose know that long after they're
gone from this earth, a part of them will still be here

to be productive, cherished, appreciated.
— Gayle Petersen
